Many trades involve working above or below ground level, from plumbers and roofers to surveyors and architects. This important training raises awareness of the hazards of working at heights and helps to keep working practice in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
It will raise workers’ awareness of good legal practice and show them how to use a range of access equipment including ladders and scaffolding. This helps to reduce the level of accidents and can save lives.
This online training is structured to include:
- Types of access equipment
- Current legislation and the Work at Height Regulations 2005
- Working safely with scaffolding
- Working safely with ladders and stepladders
- Working safely on roofs
Approximately 2 hours. However, the learning is self-paced so the course can be completed at your convenience and your progress will be recorded throughout.
This training is designed for employees who work at height as part of their job. This includes plumbers, architects, cable layers, roofers and caretakers, among others.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
This course content has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
